We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wood Flooring Installer to join our team.

As a Wood Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing and finishing wood flooring materials according to project specifications and industry standards. Your expertise in wood flooring installation techniques and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality flooring solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and assess the installation area to determine the required amount of wood flooring materials.
• Prepare the installation site by ensuring it is clean, dry, and properly leveled.
• Install wood flooring materials, including solid hardwood, engineered wood, and laminate, using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Cut and shape wood flooring materials to fit around obstacles, such as walls, doorways, and vents.
• Nail, glue, or staple wood flooring materials to the subfloor, ensuring proper alignment and secure installation.
• Apply stains, finishes, and sealants to wood flooring to enhance its appearance and durability.
• Inspect and repair any imperfections or defects in the wood flooring.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the installation process.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wood Flooring Installer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of wood flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in using installation tools, such as saws, nail guns, and sanders.
• Ability to interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing wood flooring.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle and move heavy flooring materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
