Status: Part Time Opening

Compensation: $17.00/Hour, with an additional $15/day, per client for transportation!

Location: Rockland, ME Region

Schedule:

Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm

Fridays 8:00am-12:00pm

Hours: 29.5 Hours Per Week

Client Description:

We are seeking a home and community-based DSP to work with one of our adult individuals in the Rockland area. Ideal candidates will be very active and highly motivated, ability to lift and assist with positioning and transfers from bed to wheelchair, and wheelchair to car. Candidate must have the ability to be attentive and timely… some redirection skills are necessary to support individual. The individual thrives on routine-based, consistent & stable daily activities! He enjoys indoor and outdoor exercising, including going to the gym regularly, visiting family, community exploration and getting together with friends in the community on occasion. Enhanced home supports will consist of working side by side with his Shared Living Provider to assistance with ADL's and morning routine such as transferring out of bed, assistance with hygiene routines and preparing for the day. In addition to this assistance DSP will need to help with transportation to appointments and community events.

Hiring Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED

- Valid driver's license required & 18 years of age

- Authorized to work in the United States

- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks

- Vehicle insurance (required to transport clients in your vehicle)
