A Shared Living Home Care Provider is an individual, couple or family who wants to be paid for having an adult with a developmental disability live with them in their home, condo or apartment!

LifeConnections is currently looking for a Shared Living Home Care Provider in Hampden or West Longmeadow, MA.

Annual Stipend: $55K-70K -Tax Free!

Client Description:

We have an Adult with a Developmental Disability that is looking for a Shared Living Home Care Provider.

Reimbursement Rate:

Reimbursement rates are client specific, but on average they are in the $55-70K/Year - Tax Free!

What’s involved?

As a Shared Living Home Care Provider, you will provide a safe and comfortable home for an adult with a developmental disability to live their best life, support them with tasks such as but not limited to, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation to and from medical appointments, socialization, participation in the community and other daily living tasks and activities.

Can I Still Have a Day Job?

Yes, and many people do as most individuals we serve receive staffed day support out in the community with outside staff (Monday through Friday).

What if I Need a Break?

Home Care Providers will have access to respite support, so you can go still to that wedding… take a weekend off or just go visit your family, with adequate notice when possible.

Do I Get Training & Support?

LifeConnections provides extensive training and on-going support, including monthly home visits and the availability of agency staff to guide and assist providers with any issues that might arise.

Where is there a Need?

We are looking for a Shared Living Home Care Provider in Hampden or West Longmeadow, MA.

What are the Hiring Requirements?

• An Extra, private bedroom in your home
• A Safe Home Inspection
• High School Diploma or GED
• Auto/Home/Renters Insurance
• Valid driver's license & 18 years of age
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks.
