House of Music is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Orland, IL

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our music school. House of Music is a private lesson school that doubles as a venue, recording studio, and merchandise store.

Day to day operations will include:

- Opening and closing procedures

- Navigating our booking software, JackRabbit, to do the following: post fees, take payments, onboard new student profiles, send emails, navigating class/teacher schedules, and search various reports

- Assist new families with completing necessary forms and on-boarding procedures

- Maintain client records and files in an organized manner

- Provide exceptional customer support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues

- Coordinate with teachers to ensure efficient student flow

- Talking with clients to promote in store events

- Making collection calls as necessary

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Proficient computer skills, including Google Sheets, Google Drive
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Having a musical background would be a major plus

We are searching for an outgoing leader who is eager to join our fast-paced musical environment.

You will be helping guide customers through purchasing musical gear and merchandise, so we prefer you to have some musical experience so that you are somewhat familiar with the product you will be selling!
