Position: Account Manager EAST: Full-Time

The Account Manager serves as the ambassador for IZIPIZI, maximizing the penetration of IZIPIZI's portfolio. This role is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual territory sales quotas and cost of sales goals. The Account Manager leads project timelines to meet both customer and internal partner expectations on brand and other initiatives. They coordinate customer assortment needs with the Supply Chain to ensure service level expectations are met.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieves Sales Goals: Meet monthly and annual wholesale shipping goals as specified in the Monthly and Annual Incentive Plan and Annual Performance Objectives.
  • Brand Advocacy: Understand, communicate, and drive the IZIPIZI brand strategically with assigned customers.
  • Opportunity Optimization: Identify, customize, and optimize brand and product opportunities through collaboration with buyers and brand teams.
  • Account Profitability: Own and drive account profitability in line with objectives set by the Sales Leader.
  • Customer Experience: Actively participate with sales leaders to enhance customer experience activities.
  • Territory Travel: Consistently travel within the territory to key locations to understand business opportunities and trends.
  • Inventory Management: Manage store inventory with clients, monitor productivity, create proactive solutions to inventory problems, and maintain the supply pipeline.
  • Assortment Management: Effectively manage the evolution of active assortments by customer to ensure the availability of the right product to meet business needs.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Leaders to develop 360-degree marketing plans to support client eyewear opportunities within the territory.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a collaborative team member, sharing account insights, feedback, and solutions to enhance internal and external experiences with IZIPIZI.
  • Market and Trade Show Attendance: Attend necessary markets and trade shows multiple times per year.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Results-oriented with a strong strategic sales approach.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills for financial, marketing, and demographic sales analysis.
  • Ability to develop and maintain key management relationships within the department store environment, building business trust and earning confidence with key store management.
  • Effective project management skills and strong organizational/time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc..
  • Knowledgeable about industry trends and able to speak confidently about the eyewear industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of retail/wholesale experience.
  • Experience in the fashion/eyewear industry.
  • Existing Client Base in one or more of the following: Fashion Boutiques, Department Stores, Luxury Hotels and Resorts
  • A true interest in the Fashion Industry.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, management, and retail sales.
