Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as an Energy Consultant at Capital Energy. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and closing deals for residential solar projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or continue their career in sales and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential customers via door-to-door canvassing, setting appointments for further engagement and sales opportunities
- Close appointments with homeowners set by lead setters and yourself
- Use our CRM software to track sales activities, update customer information, and manage leads
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate customer appointments
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to continually enhance your sales competencies and industry understanding
- Be ready to travel across the state for 10 consecutive days each month
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience in solar is beneficial, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using software applications such as Salesforce
- Willing to learn about solar details and effectively communicate with homeowners, addressing their specific needs and understanding levels
