We are eagerly awaiting to add Emerald Sakura to the family, launching in 2023 to sail the coastlines of the Caribbean, Central America, Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea.Scenic Group is looking to hire a Sales Account Executive West to join our team. The Sales Account Executive West will provide support to the West coast Regional Sales Directors to maintain and enhance relationships with trade partners, support opportunities to drive trade bookings for Scenic & Emerald Cruises, support the designated Regional Sales Directors to execute their plans. The individual should be highly organized and able to manage their time and a busy workload effectively ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained at all times. This position will report to Trade Sales Manager.Key Areas of Responsibility:
Support the Regional Sales Directors to create a strong brand appearance in assigned territory both online and in-person.
Follow up and support Maintenance-segmented accounts with sales opportunities and training needs.
Report on maintenance accounts including establishing sales dashboards and measuring progress
Facilitate webinars to grow awareness and preference to Scenic and Emerald Cruises
Assist with account management and system training where required
Support and attend the Regional Sales Directors at events as required, sometimes involved overseas travel
Coordinate events such as ship visits, FAM trips
Day-to-day support for Regional Sales Directors with agency inquiries
Complete administration of new travel advisors and agencies on internal CRM, Salesforce and Agent Portals
Submit maintenance requests, IT tickets when needed
Update Trade event and travel calendar
Monitor Regional and accounts’ incentive program and fulfill prize distribution
Build strong rapport and supportive relationships with Travel Advisors ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manor
Support reservations to build the trade relationships and ensure that “trade friendly” runs through the heart of our business
Identify new group opportunities, coordinate with Group Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to win more group business.
Liaise with key colleagues to improve internal communications, practices and promote teamwork throughout the organization
Liaise with trade marketing managers, brand managers to ensure all marketing requests are fulfilled.
Work directly with Travel Agency Partners as assigned or directed by the Regional Sales Directors or Trade Sales Manager.
Periodic (domestic and/or international) travel or travel upon request approximately 30% to 40% of time
Due to the nature of the role in a rapidly growing company, this role will change and adapt over time and the individual should be excited and adaptable for new challenges this will bring

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Adept with use of MS Office
Hours 10 AM EST - 6 PM EST
Familiarity with SalesForce.com
Social media skills preferred
Previous travel industry experience and working with the agency community preferred.
Neat, professional appearance and demeanor expected at all time when representing the company brands at trade functions.
Ability to travel occasionally, including international travel
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
