Job Summary:
The Myriad Hotel is looking to hire a detail-oriented and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and a high standard of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to the housekeeping staff.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to promptly address any maintenance issues or guest requests.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping, taking prompt action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and recognition for accomplishments while addressing areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong service-oriented culture.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize staff and guests' accidents, injuries, and health risks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in hospitality or related field preferred).
• Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hotel industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and quality standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in using housekeeping management systems and software.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
