Prominent Chiropractic clinic looking for an office manager whom is organized, high energy, people person, career minded, that's able to work in a fast paced office. This position will be the "face" of the practice and should enjoy direct patient contact. Cover letter MUST be included for resume to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients in a graceful and welcoming manner
- Appropriate triaging of calls from patients to Doctors
- Run reports as requested by management or accounting
- Properly collect copays and balances due at time of service by auditing patient financial data
-HIPPA compliant
-Electronic Medical Records competency
-minimum 3 years office management experience
-strong computer proficiency
- Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments
- Insurance verification
- Accounts Receivable management, sending patient statements, competency of entire revenue billing cycle
- Prepare and send Batch Reports to accounting/billing
- Answer and handle incoming phone calls
-billing is outsourced
- Knowledgeable in medical records, archiving and retrieving medical records
-Overseeing other staff members and front office scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Education Level: BS/BA ideal but willing to consider exception based on personal and professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years office management experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of general office tasks, confidentiality, filing, medical terminology, CPT coding, and manage care referral process
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and act in a professional manner
- Ability to type, file, and use a multi-line telephone, computer, fax, copier
