IT Service Manager, Cloud and Compute

OUR ROLE

Operations & Infrastructure at Fiskars Group is here to build, maintain and enhance applications and technical equipment. The team also provide support for all lines of business to use these technologies efficiently. We are looking for an IT Service Manager, cloud and compute to join our global and diverse team of technical experts.

This position will manage the IT services in Cloud Platforms and Compute (Wintel, Linux, iSeries), Database, Storage and Backup. The role is based in Espoo, Finland or Glostrup, Denmark/Barlaston, UK /Portland, US/Wisconsin, Middleton US and reports to our Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure and is full-time hybrid position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT service and offshore service delivery partner performance.
• Oversee private and public cloud operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency of Windows and Linux services.
• Lead cloud platform management, emphasizing Microsoft Azure, to support organizational goals.
• Supervise server licensing agreements and ensure compliance.
• Optimize resource utilization and implement cost control measures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises infrastructure.
• Implement IT service management best practices to enhance service quality.
• Provide strategic guidance for cloud adoption and migration, optimizing costs and leveraging cloud-native features.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5 years) in an IT service management role and managing offshore service delivery partner.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing data center environments, hosting services, and/or cloud services.
• Experience of Windows Server, Linux, Database management.
• Basic understanding of IBM iSeries management is a plus.
• Certifications in cloud platforms like Azure Administrator or similar, ITIL Foundation are appreciated.
