DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES a. System Maintenance i. Monitors system health for early signs of issue.ii. Works with radio vendors to arrange for on-site support or provides on-site support as needed.iii. Develops and distributes radio programs to support various organizational needs.b. Systems Knowledge and Self-Improvementi. Maintains knowledge of all radio and communication systems used in the operating environments of MedComm customers.c. Professionalismi. Dresses appropriately as defined in employee handbook. ii. Reports on time and completes tasks as assigned.iii. Documents and tracks all activities in time management systems. d. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREDa. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting two-way radio networks.b. Experience managing computer networks. Experience with interconnected radio systems strongly preferred.c. MOTOTRBO Radio System experience strongly preferred.d. Ability to react calmly and effectively in all situations. e. Ability to think and judge independently.f. Ability to work productively with constant interruptions.g. Ability to comply with all rules, regulations, policies and procedures for each respective client.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONa. High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent.b. Unrestricted ability to work in the United States.c. Basic computer skills including ability to power on the computer, use a mouse to interact with elements on the screen, use a computer keyboard, and shut down the computer properly.d. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows OS required.e. Experience with radio programing and networking required.f. Work involves travel by vehicle, ATV, or foot to access radio sites and customers. Work may include occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 30 lbs., reaching and ability to move about to accomplish tasks. Requires repetitive motions of wrists, hands and fingers. Must have excellent hearing and listening skills to receive detailed information through oral communication (via telephone or in person).g. Employee subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Work may involve experience to extreme temperature variations and weather.
