Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is looking for an experienced, diligent, and driven F&B Manager – Events and Concessions to join our team. This position will work across all business units to help develop and manage relationships with outside vendors, assist with collaboration on branding and creative ideas, and support the Operations and Revenue Coordinator with overseeing the key data related to these areas. Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is a themed immersive entertainment company and is the world’s largest operator of Halloween themed live event properties and location-based entertainment experiences. Source vendors per location.
Negotiate contracts.
Manage concessionaires.
Menu development w/ concessionaires and sponsors.
Collaborate on design and menu for F&B stands in markets w/out concessionaires.
Manage vendor relationships, reporting timelines, and payment accountability.
Close out season (receive/review settlements and collect checks).
Menu development and thematic branding w/ General Managers, Revenue and Operations Coordinator, & sponsors.
Review order quantities with Regional Managers and give ‘go ahead’ to General Managers to order supplies.
Oversee implementation, development, and reporting for Point-of-Sale systems.
Ensure vendor quality control meets standards.
Merchandise (as needed - assist Revenue and Operations Coordinator)
Working with on-site staff to ensure that all proper merchandising plans are executed.
Providing on-site support for photo system technology.
Providing support to the Revenue and Operations Coordinator with merchandise planning, ordering, logistics, and execution.
Working with staff on-site to ensure all POS devices are working properly.
Monitoring implementation of POS terminals.
QualificationsEducation/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field -or-
3 years’ experience in a similar position, emphasis on logistics and operations
Thorough understanding of 3rd-party vendor negotiations
Able to create and manage sales and inventory reports
Relevant Experience With The Following (or Similar)
Square (Other POS systems)
Experience with multi-state liquor license laws
