Below is the job description for the position you are applying for.

Summary:

This position conducts implementation of price changes at store level, in order for store management to maintain necessary price controls and integrity. Timeliness and accuracy of implementation are key to the position. Primary learning challenge is understanding the pricing and scanning systems as well as front end procedures to effectively coordinate price change information. Ability to communicate pricing issues to manager/lead is crucial. This position requires ongoing social skills, good judgement and decision making. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs implementation of price changes

-Ensures that prices are correct and that they go into effect in a timely and consistent manner

-Communicates price to Pricing Manager/Lead

-Makes and/or enters changes in computer systems, shelf tags and necessary paperwork

Conducts display, competitive, TPR sheet, ads, coupons and in-store deal price changes

-Verifies for accuracy, verifies proper price on shelf and display, returns shelf and display to regular rice, updates computer files on PC and completes necessary paperwork.

Ensures new items are priced accurately and all necessary data is entered into computer files

-Ensures that new items are flagged for tax, food stamps and ensures accurate description and department

-Communicates effectively with all vendors

Coordinates and performs proper signing and stickering

-Ensures accuracy and that policies and procedures are followed

Ensures price check calls are responded to in a timely and consistent manner

Conducts verification of prices on an ongoing basis using verification equipment and audits

-Informs Pricing Manager/Lead of potential pricing errors or inconsistencies
