This position does not require relocation. This is a remote position that requires approximately 20% travel. This role requires an existing understanding of freight management, and / or experience working in LTL, Freight Forwarding, Freight Management, or the 3PL industry. Applicants without experience will not be considered.

About the Role

LTL Pricing Analyst is an exciting developmental role for an early-to-mid career analyst looking to focus on supply chain challenges within North America. You will have exposure to multiple business segments across North America, working together with a small team providing functional and analytic expertise to sales, account management (clients), procurement, carrier partners, IT, and operations. You will lead projects and recommend process improvements to senior management using data driven analytics. Familiarity with LTL pricing and strong Microsoft Excel skillsets are required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team. 

Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Assemble weekly/month metrics developing and producing reports with actionable insight on a regular basis

· Evaluate historical client data, completing weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost and service reports

· Provide data analysis to support root cause and corrective action investigations related to customer service performance. 

· Using insights from clients reports, assist the management teams in developing client specific actions plans to lower costs and improve service

· Provide excel and PowerBI based analysis of new business opportunities

· Provide data analysis to support all competitive bid exercises and mode management (TL, LTL, intermodal, and parcel)

· Setup and maintain API credentials to support automation targets

· Support the development of cost projections and alternatives for proposed logistics solution delivery

Preferred Experience:

· 2 plus years of demonstrated analytics experience in less-than truckload (LTL) Pricing

· Excellent analytic skills. Data / fact focused in developing analyses. Ability to infer trends and spot patterns

· Ability to summarize conclusions and present a clear storyline and logic flow using graphs and charts

· Advanced Excel, and Power BI skills

· Prior experience with logistics management tools (BatchMark XL, SMC3, Project44, etc.) is preferred

· Rating Automation
