Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning tasks, including hospitality, industrial cleaning, and housekeeping management. Responsibilities:

- Clean and tidy all areas according to set standards
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to hotel standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Good physical health and stamina
- Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience in custodial or hotel housekeeping
- Familiarity with floor care techniques

Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to:

 Read and write (English)

 Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios.

 Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions

 Visually inspect all work areas

 Operate equipment for several hours at a time

 Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages

 Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time

 Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
