This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals. Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers. Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths. Check vital signs and record daily information in the patients chart. Assist the nurses and other staff as needed. Adhere to professional standards, follow the policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements. Observe patients conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to the charge/staff nurse as soon as possible. Qualifications: One Year CNA Experience One Year Skilled Nursing Facility Experience Ability to successfully pass NABS Fingerprint Background Screening and Drug Test Active, Non-Probationary Utah CNA License Active BLS Certification Ability to Move/Lift A Minimum of 50 Pounds Ability to Speak, Read, and Write English We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
