Here at Mason Aces our mission is to Ace the care we provide to our families. With that being said it is important to us that our nannies understand all that is expected of them, and the quality of care that we intend to provide. All nannies must undergo a background check as well as be CPR and first aid certified. The families we work with will also be background checked. This is to ensure the safety of our nannies as well as the safety of our families. We are looking for nannies who love children and love working in partnership with families. Working with children and families is not for the weak or the faint of heart, but it is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. We are looking for people who are flexible, adaptable, and creative. We are looking for people who are not only care takers but are educators as well. The duties of the nannies include:

• Light Cleaning for the families (picking up after the children).

• Preparing meals for the children (whether they are premade or not is dependent upon the family’s needs).

• Making sure the children are always safe and well taken care of.

• Assisting with homework for older children that need it, and assisting in the education of the younger children as well, (meaning going over things like letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and reading to younger children)

• Communicating with the parents and Mason Aces the needs of the children that are in your care. (each nanny will provide a written synopsis via the app on how the children are doing daily. It does not have to be long but must provide clear communication to the parents on how their child/ children are doing each day.)

• Pick up and drop off (if specified prior to by the family)

• Flexible availability for possible night time or weekend care.

• For infant care nannies should be checking/ changing the baby’s diapers every hour. We will provide a notebook for nannies to log diaper changes daily.

• Nannies must make sure that the children are exhibiting proper sleeping habits, especially for infant care,( no blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, or loose objects in the bed with infants).

• Maintain positive energy, and remain respectful to families (nannies have a right to file complaints against parents if they feel like they are being disrespected, put in danger, or harassed.)
