SUMMARY: With supervision, serves as point of contact for all Medical Assistance and the National School Lunch Program correspondence.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Essential Functions:

1) Responsible for Medical Assistance service coordination, including:

• Collection of student information from parents, teachers, and related services.
• Review and verify data to ensure accuracy.
• Preparation of monthly billing submission.
• Participation in annual audit of the program.

2) Compiles information from the education office, nutrition services and prepares monthly billing submission for the National School Lunch Program. Participates in annual audit of the program.

3) Performs general office duties for the finance office staff and CFO, including ordering supplies, filing, copying, scheduling departmental meetings, etc. 

Marginal Functions:

1. Performs additional duties as assigned.

CONDITIONS :

Equipment Used: Computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, shredder, calculator, mail postage machine.

Performance Standard: Must consistently perform duties in a dependable, courteous, and congenial manner.

Work Schedule: 22.5 daytime hours, 8:00 - 4:00 Tuesday through Thursday with daily ½ hour unpaid lunch. Additional hours on call when needed. This position follows a twelve-month work schedule.

Pay Rate: $19.92 - $25.42, based on education and experience, in keeping with MSB's Non Exempt Administrative Pay Scale, Grade 4.
