Purpose
Responsible for performing specialized clerical duties as well as working with standard office equipment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Processes all incoming and outgoing mail - collects, sorts, and distributes incoming mail, including carrier and customer correspondence
Opens and processes customer return mail
Clerical activities such as copying, faxing, and data entry
Mail pick up/drop off from post offices
Back up to the front reception desk
Answers queries by retrieving and searching for files/documents
Uses scanners to convert documents into electronic format
Receives outgoing mail and applies correct postage
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma, some college preferred
1 year of related experience preferred
Knowledge of basic office equipment (computer, fax. printer, copier, scanner)
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Preferred Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Typing 35 WPM
Strong data entry skills
Reliable, accurate, detailed and a self-starter
Able to work in a fast-paced environmen and maintain a sense of urgency
Able to multi-task
