Job Title: Plant Engineer

Contract: Fulltime

Location: Winchester, KY

Must-Haves:

• Experience in running a manufacturing maintenance department.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience and a proven record in failure analysis.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of successful experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment and/or 5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of OSHA requirements related to in-house equipment.
• Ability to identify gaps and implement countermeasures to achieve zero safety incidents.
• Ability to lead and develop a highly collaborative and effective team.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Additional relevant qualifications as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for achieving the highest level of reliability for plant equipment.
• Support the Sonoco Performance System (SPS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and maintain strong ownership of the Maintenance Excellence process within the plant.
• Work hours are 7 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend and after-hours on-call duties depending on plant needs.
• Additional relevant responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
