Inventory Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX, 76140

• Research and evaluate inventory management technologies and software solutions that align with the company's needs and objectives. Consider factors such as scalability, integration capabilities, and ease of use.
• Lead the implementation and integration of new technology and equipment to enhance inventory management processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Develop a comprehensive plan for implementing the new inventory management system, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Design workflows and processes to ensure seamless integration with existing operations.
• Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of the new inventory management system. Gather feedback from stakeholders and identify areas for improvement to enhance system functionality and efficiency continually.
• Responsible for oversight and inventory accuracy of high value sport flooring in a multi shift operation.
• Responsible for employing successful inventory management techniques and philosophies.
• Ensure SOP’s, policies and procedures are being always followed, including but not limited to physical inventory counts, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and timely completion of departmental reporting to management.
• Update existing inventory control procedures and documentation to keep up with changing company and operational demands.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse day to day activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet company standards in addition to inventory control standards.
• Work closely with management team on any inventory control issues.
• Review, audit, and evaluate warehouse locations, and determine product allocation.
• Ensure operations are following Inventory Control policies and procedures.
• Implement and ensure inventory control policy and procedure changes are communicated. Develop warehouse area specific policies and procedures as needed and provide employee training to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate inventory control systems within the warehouse and provide training, compliance, and review of SOPs by appropriate departments.
• Monitor and evaluate inventory levels and make appropriate changes to the cycle count schedule as required.
• Generate purchase orders and insure order confirmation from suppliers.
• Review min-max or order inventory stock levels.
• Identify obsolete, slow moving unused inventory and provide recommendation of disposal of excess or damaged inventory.
• Conduct root cause investigations into inventory discrepancies. Document findings, perform product movement analysis, and communicate to management any issues.
• Track and report on Inventory Control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Demonstrates commitment and support for company goals, objectives and procedures.
• Represents the company by developing collaborative relationships with site personnel, colleges and vendors.
• Actively participates & contributes to department and company programs & goals, including but not limited to: 5S, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, TPM, Safety, & Elimination of Waste.
• Other task and duties assigned as needed.

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or related equivalent experience.
• 5 years of operations management experience in a warehouse or manufacturing operations, with 5 years in an inventory management capacity.
• Warehouse Management System experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lean methodology.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CPIM) are a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Ability to make presentations and develop reports that may include technical information.
• Working knowledge of inventory management software.
• Strong personal time management skills.
• Takes initiative to seek additional training or direction as needed or offered.

• This position will function in both an office and manufacturing environment to fulfill essential duties. This role will regularly be required to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, walk, and type. Must use eyes to focus and ears to listen and assess audible inputs. Occasionally this role will be required to move objects that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• The manufacturing environment will be similar to outdoor seasonal weather conditions, which many include excessive heat or cold. Exposure to noise pollution, high temperature equipment, dust, dirt, and smoke.
• Exposure to forklift traffic, sharp tools & objects, and moving mechanical parts.
• Must comply with all PPE, including but not limited to gloves and safety glasses as required.
