Requirements

Interlaced is looking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant to run day-to-day accounting operations for one of our divisions. Ideally in Nashville, TN or San Diego, CA, but open to wider TN and CA region. This position will report directly to the Division Director. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about innovation and developing processes, thrives working within a strong team setting, likes to empower people, have fun at work and is people-focused!

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a combination of education and experience
• 2 years of working accounting experience
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial statements, full cycle AR/AP, internal controls
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• ERP experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

How You Will Make a Difference Day To Day:

• Manage the full cycle of day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Provide timely support to clients regarding billing inquiries
• Maintain and update vendor and customer accounts
• Bank & GL Reconciliations: conduct regular daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations. Investigate and resolve any variances in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements meeting month end deadlines
• Work collaboratively with other members of accounting and finance team across all Interlaced divisions
• Assist Group Controller in interim and annual audit
• Prepare and file annual 1099’s
• Light admin duties: state filings as needed, occasional office supply order
• Other duties as assigned

This position is between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. FLSA status: exempt.
