Job Overview:

The position entails processing high volumes of printing, copying, and finishing various jobs for our commercial base of customers. Technology being employed includes Konica-Minolta digital presses, Adobe software, Firery/ Impose software, large cutter, and various finishing equipment which includes binding, laminating, scoring, collating, etc..

The ideal candidate will be able to process job requests, such as business cards, catalogs, direct mail, flyers, brochures and much more, while utilizing the Adobe suite of software. They will be required to competently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the digital presses.

Job Responsibilities:

· Completes functions on digital presses.

· Completes maintenance including changing ink cartridges , loading paper , replacing toner and waste, and clearing jams.

· Utilizes binding equipment and completes finishing which includes cutting, binding, collating, and other processes.

· Utilizes company software to report and update the status of orders and customer files.

· On occasion provides front of the office and phone coverage.

· Uses a keen eye to ensure quality and detail is achieved in customers print orders.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

·2 years experience in cut paper digital printing

· Pre- production file prep and imposition experience with Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Photoshop. Must be able to prepare and troubleshoot a variety of file formats and edit PDF documents.

· Prior Bindery and finishing experience a plus.

· Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs.

· A team player who is well organized.

· A strong understanding of print layout.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
