We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as our First Mate in Lansing. Whether you are someone with a passion for the water, looking to gain more experience in boating, or seeking a unique weekend job opportunity, we welcome you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance tasks on the boat to ensure it is in pristine condition, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Assist in the preparation of the boat for departure and docking, ensuring all safety equipment is in place and functional.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all passengers feel welcome, safe, and comfortable throughout their journey.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of boat operation and safety procedures, with a willingness to learn and take direction from the Captain and senior crew members.
• Participate in safety drills and be prepared to act in emergency situations to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and crew.

Requirements:

• Must possess the ability to swim proficiently.
• Available to work primarily on weekends and holidays, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
• Boating experience is advantageous but not a requirement. Candidates with a keen interest in boating and willingness to learn will be considered.
• Some knowledge of boating and maritime safety preferred but not required.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
