Duties:
- Answer telephone and refer calls to appropriate personnel, take messages, and/or answer questions concerning the department/facility.
-Schedule appointments for the department.
-Greet or direct patients and visitors; provide directions and/or answer questions.
-Gather information from patients and other areas to complete necessary forms for the department such as registration and insurance verification.
-May enter data such as patient or billing data, verifying for accuracy and making corrections, as necessary.
-Maintain departmental records.
-Communicates with CRMC patients, physicians, and co-workers in a manner that exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- 3 months experience preferred
- H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
