The Smile Spot is a local orthodontic practice in the KC Metro area looking for an Expanded Functions orthodontic assistant who loves orthodontics. We have 3 ortho offices in the area, one is located in Independence and 2 in Kansas City.

Current Openings:

• Expanded Functions (EFDA) Orthodontic Assistant for busy Orthodontic office.
• Flexible shifts and schedules
• We have Full-Time Hours available. We also have some PT options as well
• The schedule is sent out 2 to 3 weeks in advance

• Must be able to commute to all 3 Smile Spot locations.

What we are looking for:

Good understanding of customer service & desire to work hard to exceed the expectations of our patients. Someone who understands our desire in patient care: developing life-long dental patients. Willingness to travel some of the time and honesty and integrity are also important.

Responsibilities:

• Following the doctors’ treatment plans for the patient
• Cleanliness of clinical area, sterilization of instruments and stocking of clinical supplies
• Regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment, cleaning and preparing of units before each patient
• Chairside assisting and all of the skills involved.
