With a focus on quality and efficiency, we are looking for a Purchasing Agent who is committed to delivering outstanding results and ensuring a seamless procurement experience for our organization.

STRATEGIC AND TACTICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arrange for timely and cost-efficient procurement of manufacturing materials according to usage and production estimates as identified by the Operations Manager and/or Sales
• Arrange for the procurement of finished inventory items according to sales estimates as identified by Sales and based on usage history
• Develop systematized purchasing procedures, including computer-generated purchase orders, formal bid/cost comparison system, and detailed vendor account files.
• Develop long-term relationships with key vendors
• Monitor inventory of quantities on hand, quantities on order, and items having purchasing requirements
• Work with Production Management to explore alternative materials, capital investments, and alternative vendors
• Create a formal program for soliciting bids from multiple suppliers to help achieve the best result for Sauna360 Inc.
• Adhere to company guidelines relating to on hand inventory dollars
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain management principles.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
