GSSCANDIDATEPORTAL is Hiring a Project Manager Near Washington, DC

Glacier Support Services, LLC (GSS) is seeking a Project Manager for a new contract with a Federal Government client based in Washington DC. The Project Manager will be dedicated to this contract specifically and oversee all day-to-day operations and ensure all objectives of relevant SOWs are achieved. This role will operate primarily onsite in Washington DC. The Project Manager will be assisted by an Interior Designer, and both will report to an overall Contract Manager. The Project Manager must be comfortable working with different internal company groups across multiple time zones. Qualifications:Six to eight (6-8) years of program/project management experience supporting building renovations and/or building design planning.Experience working with General Services Administration (GSA) renovation projects Knowledge of working with federal buildings.Experience with furniture and equipment specification, procurement, and provisioning.Knowledge of federal contracting.Experience in leadership roles such as leading a project or process improvement effort.Experience tracking, measuring, and reporting metrics.Experience performing Quality Assurance oversight activities.Position Responsibilities:Serve as the main point of contact for all technical and administrative issues related to the assigned project.Coordinate requirements across multiple project work orders simultaneously.Provide technical advice, organize, plan, direct, and manage all the staff assigned to the projects.Provide conformity to contractual obligations, establish and maintain technical and financial reports, provides status and updates on project.Attend planning and team meetings and respond to inquiries as needed.Provide conformity to contractual obligations, maintains project budget, establish and maintain technical and financial reports, provides status and updates on projects.Develop information channels to communicate with the client project teams and implement data collection and analysis methods through interview and other methods. Education/Experience:Relevant Project Management certification or equivalent on the job experience preferred.Familiarity and/or experience with Native 8a companies, if possible.
