Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cart Attendant to join our team. As a Cart Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our establishment. Your main duties will include sanitizing carts, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with food preparation. Duties: - Sanitize carts and ensure they are ready for customer use - Retrieve carts from the parking lot and return them to designated areas - Assist customers with loading and unloading their groceries or belongings - Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns - Assist with food preparation tasks as needed - Maintain cleanliness of the cart storage area and surrounding areas - Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met - Perform other duties as assigned Skills: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus - Previous experience in the restaurant, food service, or food industry is preferred - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating totals - Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices This position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift heavy objects.
