The Harbour School at Annapolis and Baltimore is Hiring a School Social Worker Near Annapolis, MD
The Harbour School is seeking an energetic school social worker. If you have a passion for helping special education students in grades 1-12 and want to work with a highly skilled clinical team, Harbour offers a great environment. The successful candidate for this position will have a thorough understanding of student populations, SEL and mental health issues that impact special needs students and will be capable of developing treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of the student. Candidates should also be passionate about sharing their knowledge to improve a student's educational and social growth with families and a dynamic team of professionals. A master’s degree in social work is required. Supervision for a LMSW is available on site if needed. Ability to work with a variety of students, families and team members is a must. This is an 11 month position paid over 12 months. We offer a liberal leave policy with paid personal leave and school holidays, as well as outstanding health and retirement benefits. This position is located at the Annapolis campus. Funding is also available for CEU’s.
Responsibilities include but not limited to; Treat a variety of special needs students with various challenges in individual and group sessions; Assess, develop, and implement individual clinical and social skills goals; Work with a dynamic school team to create and implement programming that leads to educational and social growth.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $59,240.00 - $62,320.00 per year
