Job Summary:
Elk Grove Power Sports is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Elk Grove, California. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing our daily financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. This is a full-time, individual contributor role, providing an opportunity for growth and the ability to make a direct impact on our business.

Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify accuracy of transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Process payroll and maintain accurate records of employee hours and wages
- Create and maintain vendor relationships and manage all vendor payments
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash
- Keep complete and accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparations as needed
- Other ad hoc financial duties and tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Education in Accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience with payroll and creating financial reports
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
