Job Summary
The Learning Spot is looking for reliable Tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will provide math support for 2-4th grade students. Tutors will be responsible for documenting completed tasks and communicating student’s progress to our Math Coach. Our ideal candidate has worked professionally with school-age children in some capacity. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide math tutoring
- Implement the activities created for each session
- Coordinate with the Math Coach to plan math activities/ games
- Maintain a tutoring log
- Provide encouragement and positive motivation
- Have fun with math!
Qualifications and Skills
- Leadership skills
- Proficient in basic math
- Enjoys working with children
- Excellent communication skills
- Available to work during school hours and/or after school
- Background check clearance (required).
