Job Responsibilities:

● Facilitating and maintaining food safety compliance and programs including but not limited to: Supplier Approval program/documents, Lot Traceability/Mock Recall Reports, internal GMP inspections, food safety corrective action documentation, and keg distribution programs.

● Assist Food Safety Team with maintenance of third party certification within work location

● Develop and implement SOPs for our food safety programs

● Organizes and files digital and physical files

● Understanding of GMP inspections and ability conduct unassisted

Skills and Experience:

● Experience: Manufactured Foods Safety, beverage production, GFSI audit experience

● Computer Skills: Required Google Suite, PDF, Microsoft Office

○ Netsuite-ERP skills a plus

● Certificates, Licenses, registrations: PCQI Certification preferred, SQF Practitioner preferred.

● Travel Requirements: possible occasional travel for conferences or to assist CT brewery

● Education: Note: 3 years in manufacturing food safety role and/or 4-year college degree 

Job Details:

● Location: San Diego, CA

● Salary: $67,000 - $72,000 / Year. Commensurate with experience - Base salary and opportunities for performance bonuses.
