WestStar Multimedia Entertainment, Inc. is Hiring a Customer Service Coordinator Near Phoenix, AZ

Are you welcoming and upbeat? Do you enjoy talking with people and helping them? Are you eager to learn the ropes of a fast-paced multimedia broadcast operation? This job is for you.

As part of the Komando customer service team, you will answer reader and listener questions, assist with scheduling callers for Kim’s national radio show, confirm caller appointments, promote online giveaways and perform other customer service-related duties as needed.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Book callers from The Kim Komando Show, airing on 420 stations nationwide. Follow up on inquiries sent via email through phone and email outreach.
  • Prepare guests to be on the show, from an intro call to reminder emails the day before recording.
  • On the day callers are recorded, handle calls and set them up for Kim to take on-air.
  • Respond to questions and comments that come in through Kim’s daily newsletter, the website, social media and other sources.
  • Research and respond to inquiries, providing excellent customer service at the highest level of professionalism.
  • Stay up to date on topics covered across Komando offerings and general tech news to effectively help listeners and readers.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to run successful giveaways and promotions to earn new customers.
  • Solve loyal customer problems, and turn frustrated clients into repeat customers.

Skills requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • No radio/broadcast experience required. We will teach you that part!
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment, including juggling multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable on the phone with strangers, so much so that you can make them feel comfortable, too.
  • Ability to work independently in a highly productive manner.
  • Computer savvy with experience in Windows, Google and Office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience
  • Strong independent worker
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation and shift:

This part-time position pays $17-$20 hourly depending on experience. Schedule is daily Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekends and major holidays off.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
