SKYWAY PRECISION is Hiring an Engineering CAD Technician Near Plymouth, MI
Skills: CAD, CNC, Blueprint Reading, Work Instructions, Tooling Sheets, PPAP, APQP, ProE
We are seeking an experienced Engineering CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying engineering drawings and models using CAD software. The candidate will also be responsible for creating CNC programs, reading blueprints, creating work instructions and tooling sheets, and supporting PPAP and APQP processes.
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify engineering drawings and models using CAD software
- Read blueprints and create work instructions and tooling sheets
- Support PPAP and APQP processes
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD design and CNC programming
- Proficient in CAD software, and ProE
- Experience with blueprint reading, work instructions, and tooling sheets
- Knowledge of PPAP and APQP processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
