Benton Roofing, Inc. is Hiring a Safety Officer Near EAST FLAT ROCK, NC
Benton Roofing has a need for a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO). This position will be based out of our office in Flat Rock NC but does require travel to different job sites and locations.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of safety
- Conduct pre-task safety meetings
- Conduct safety inspections on equipment
- Conduct general safety inspections
- Enforce safety best practices
- Train and coach staff on safety
- Track and follow up on all team members safety certificates
- Regular communication with team and leaders to ensure all safety standards are adhered to
- Conduct regular training in safety, daily and at meetings, as well as conducting certifications training and classrooms
Requirements:
- Ability to pass extensive background checks.
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR & First Aid Certified
- OSHA 30 Certified or 40 Hour EN385 Certified OSHA 500 a plus
- Experience in construction for 3 years in a safety & health capacity
