Shingle Technician Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Currently seeking potential candidates with shingle experience in steep and flat roofing, install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of commercial and industrial buildings. However, we are willing to train candidates who may not have a lot of experience but are willing to learn a new trade.

• Some experience installing shingles (2 years of roofing experience preferred)
• Aerial lifts
• Knowledge and experience with multiple types of commercial roofing systems or construction in general (required)
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training
• Work at heights on flat or sloped surfaces
• Enthusiasm for working outside in the elements and being physically active
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and think outside-the-box
• Dependable and able to be at work on time and on a consistent basis within the requirements of the position
• Presentable in appearance, and professional when communicating with both customers and Benton Team Members
• Be excited about practicing and sharpening up your Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) knowledge so you’re a top-notch construction industry member
