SVN Parke Group is Hiring a Corporate Staff Accountant Near Fort Wayne, IN
This permanent full-time position requires a friendly, detail-oriented person with an excellent work ethic. Successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and previous accounting experience. The most qualified candidate for this role will be reliable, flexible, and fast learning with demonstrated history of taking initiative and responsibility. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload within a fast paced environment. Microsoft Office 365 application skills are a must.
- Process customer invoices for maintenance work.
- Reconcile time recorded in the payroll system to work orders
- Monthly Work Order management
- Process vendor invoices and prepare disbursement checks
- Prepare monthly reports
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries
- Assist in general accounting and HR tasks
- Past experience with receivables and payables
- Familiarity with accounting software, Yardi preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Software, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word
