Job Title: Quality Control and Clinic Compliance Manager

Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Quality Control and Clinic Compliance Manager manages all clinic operation departments and ensures that the organization including all its subsidiaries are in consistent compliance in all applicable Federal and State Laws and Health Plan Regulations.

Job Duties:

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Collaborates with all clinic operation teams to ensure efficient clinic operations across specialties, programs and departments.
  • Manages all day-to-day clinic operations at every site including Porterville, Earlimart, Lindsay, and all private offices.
  • Supervise and mentor all clinic operations supervisor staff and develop individual growth plans to maximize performance and quality of output.
  • Collaborate with provider leadership to meet company goals and mission by improving and maintaining quality of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain consistent metrics to measure clinic success and team performances.
  • Developing and administering the organization’s compliance program.
  • Developing and administering compliance training and education throughout the organization as required and when retraining is necessary.
  • Overseeing compliance audits and risk assessments by interacting with government agencies and health plan representatives and implementing their findings
  • Partnering with Human Resources and finance departments to identify and monitor critical risk areas, planning for mitigating risks, and developing action plans.
  • Interacting with government agencies and health plan representatives to maintain compliance in all programs and operations.

· Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

· Serve as a representative of the company and support community outreach efforts that drive patient engagement.

  • Address patient grievances within the required timeframe.
  • Assist with all provider time off scheduling and patient scheduling revisions.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· BS/BA in healthcare administration, public health, or related field from a 4-year accredited institution strongly preferred.

· High School Diploma/GED required.

· At least five (5) years of experience of increasing responsibility and managing multiple programs and clinic departments.

· Extensive experience in Healthcare Compliance.

· In-depth knowledge of the industry’s applicable laws, standards and regulations.

· In-depth knowledge of Rural Health Clinic (RHC) regulations and health plan and commerical requirements.

· Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.

· Contribute to healthcare policy formulation when collaborating with provider leadership.

· Proven ability to develop strategic and business plans for all operation groups.

· Proven ability to supervise, provide leadership, and influence multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and achieve shared goals.

· Demonstration of strong time management skills.

· An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.

  • Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and willingness to engage in learning about various spiritual, ethnic, and culturally diverse backgrounds.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Must have strong computer skills.
  • Must demonstrate detailed and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Supervises: Medical Assistant Supervisor, Front Office Supervisor, Satellite Clinic Supervisor, Housekeeping and Office Manager

Classification: Full Time Position, Exempt

SALARY: $66,560 - $85,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,560.00 - $85,000.00 per year
