Seeking (2) reliable part-time Day Porters who will be responsible for performing minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties to ensure the facility is maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner while providing an exceptional experience for guests/customers. The successful candidate will be organized, reliable, and proactive in handling a variety of duties.

Responsibilities:

• Complete minor repairs and building improvements as needed.
• Prepare spaces before and after meetings/events/lunches.
• Monitor, clean and service restrooms, classrooms, conference rooms, break room, cafeteria, beverage/snack stations, common areas, and parking lot.
• Furniture moving and wall hangings.
• Performs floor mopping, scrubbing, and buffing duties as needed.
• Assist with facility supply inventory and ordering.
• Opening/Closing of facility to include walk-throughs checking for any alarming occurrences.
• Assisting with visitor control by greeting guests and enforcing facility access policy.
• Respond to emergency or unforeseen situations, to include but not limited to spills, accidents, and infrastructural failures.
• Facility shipping and receiving (low volume).
• Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack operation.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a Day Porter or similar role with janitorial/maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with facility and office equipment, cleaning supplies, and hand tools.
• Familiarity with building safety regulations and security protocols.
• Basic computer literacy with knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Requires performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, and lifting.
• Works indoors in an office and warehouse environment, and outdoors in all types of weather.

Preferred but not required:

• Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack experience/certification preferred.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
