University Nursing and Rehab is looking for a dynamic professional for our Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler position. We provide a range skilled nursing care, long term care, dementia care and rehabilitation therapy.
The Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler is responsible for preparing schedules and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the nursing departments on a 24-hour basis to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as directed by administration.
The number one priority for this position is maintaining the employee schedules for the facility in accordance with state, company and facility guidelines to ensure that patient care and staffing needs are appropriately addressed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Creates, coordinates, reports, posts, and manages all functions related to schedules of hourly staff
- Notifies appropriate personnel of call-ins and assists with securing coverage
- Maintains accurate attendance records and notifies management of attendance-related issues
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Proficient in use of computer
MUST HAVE PRIOR STAFFING / SCHEDULING EXPERIENCE IN A HIGH VOLUME HEALTHCARE CENTER
