The ideal candidate blends equal parts enthusiasm, attention to detail, and knowledge of our extensive food and beverage options. We count on you to create a unique, personal experience for each guest you encounter by making great craft cocktails, developing personal relationships, served with a great attitude to welcome folks back!

Knowledge and Skills:

· Ability and willingness to deliver high level customer service at all times.

· Ability and willingness to make and serve Urban Grill’s craft cocktail, beer and wine recipes, quantities and guidelines.

· Keep bar area clean and stocked.

· Knowledge of commonly ordered drinks and ability to make suggestions

· Completion of/or willingness to take an approved alcohol safety class as defined by both state laws and Urban Grill’s policy and guidelines.

· Knowledge of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures

· Knowledge of current marketing initiatives and up-coming events in order to proactively inform guests and invite them back

· Knowledge of food and beverage menus and ability to make suggestions to enhance guest experience and increase ticket sales

· Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail

· Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives

· Maintain accurate cash drawer and be able to account for any discrepancies.

· Basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems and willingness to learn Urban Grills’

· Demonstrate conflict management skills, analytical skills, and high degree of emotional intelligence in order to recognize and solve problems that come with the position

· Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and department rules, policies, and procedures

· Ability to follow specific service time and guidelines while engaging Guests and personalizing their experience

· Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule, covering shifts as necessary, and being on time for scheduled shifts

· Ability to maintain a fast pace and intensity for an extended period of time

· Work as a contributing member of a team and communicate with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff to ensure effective customer flow

· Maintain positive working relationships with all Team Members and managers

· Ability to positively represent Urban Grill on Main throughout each guests’ visit to our restaurant

Education/Experience:

· REQUIRED: Minimum age of 21years old; Certification to serve alcohol as dictated by the State and Urban Grill policy

· Prior bartending experience, preferred
