Waldron Junior-Senior High School is seeking a school counselor for the 2024-2025 school year.
Job Description:
Collaborate with school stakeholders in implementing school-wide counseling program.
Support students in the development of academic, career, personal, and social/emotional goals.
Provide postsecondary assistance to high school students.
Maintain student guidance and academic records with confidentiality.
Utilize data to identify student needs and develop strategies and interventions that support students in these areas of need.
Facilitate communication with parents, teachers, administrators and students about behavior and academic concerns.
Assist school administration in coordinating state tests.
Assist with school programs and events.
Adhere to laws, policies, procedures, and ethical standards set forth by both the school district and the school counseling profession.
Other duties as assigned by the principal.
Job Requirements:
School Counseling License or enrolled in program with ability to obtain license.
