MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adherence to safety protocols and industry standards is paramount, ensuring safety while conducting maintenance duties. Collaboration with the safety team is crucial for identifying and addressing potential hazards.
• Proficient diagnosis and execution of repairs and preventive maintenance on a diverse array of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components integrated within our control systems. Serves as the point of contact for escalated maintenance issues.
• Contribution to the development of capital projects.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas for management or maintenance personnel.
• Ensuring equipment operates and is maintained in accordance with quality assurance standards.
• Recommendations for adjustments to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimal quality within equipment capabilities.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in control system technology and automation, potentially attending vendor training sessions for new or existing equipment as required.
• Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, production managers, team members, and other technicians, to swiftly resolve issues and support projects.
• Fulfillment of additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or some college education is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a maintenance or production setting.
• Preferably, possess electrical training or experience, particularly with 480 3-phase systems and machine controls.
• Knowledge of VFD Drives and PLCs is beneficial.
• Familiarity with manufacturing methods, process improvement initiatives, and standard procedures is necessary.
• Previous exposure to mechanical, electrical, and/or manufacturing environments is highly desired.
• Proficiency in operating forklift equipment; forklift certification will be provided on-site.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA and GMP standards and regulations.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in mathematics; experience with work order and inventory systems, such as SAP, is preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical and analytical abilities, including the capability to interpret and create engineering drawings.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required .
