RESPONSIBILITIES

Under direction of an Office Manager, will perform administrative support involving a wide variety of daily activities. Will use various software applications; plan, organize, carry out own work, and work in coordination with other staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Two (2) years’ administrative/clerical experience. One (1) year Microsoft Office experience or Microsoft Office proficiency certificate. Experience with effectively handling a high volume of phone calls with professionalism.

OTHER

Excellent telephone, interpersonal, soft people skills, and active listening for good customer service; critical thinking for good decision making. Flexible; takes initiative; ability to work in a team setting. Demonstrated ability to operate standard office equipment, organize work, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, problem-solve, and pay close attention to detail. Ability to utilize good time management in completion of a high volume of work in a fast-paced work environment. Knowledge of standard office practices, principles and processes. Excellent typing, spelling, grammar and data entry. Experience with scanning equipment a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

STARTING SALARY

$20.87 to $22.96 an hour
