Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel - Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to specific dietary requirements - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Document client care activities accurately and timely in medical records - Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality Qualifications: - Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical documentation procedures - Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus - Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision - Basic knowledge of tube feeding procedures is desirable Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
