Overview:

The Choral Assistant works closely with Mrs. Smith, and supports the PHS Choir Program through individual lessons. All Students receive one 12/15 min lesson per week as part of their Choral Music Education at PHS. Lessons provide the opportunity to differentiate the students' needs. Every student has different skills and the Choral Assistant helps improve each individual they work with.

The students directly benefit from choir lessons because we focus on:

• Music Literacy Skills (How to read music)
• Vocal pedagogy (How to sing)
• Class Repertoire (What we are singing)

This position is 8 hours of work a week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.91 - $21.57 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
