Summary description:

Staff Member is responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the entire property and building of Patriot Prep.

Primary responsibilities:

* Complete regular cleaning duties
* Follow schedule to ensure completeness and complete cleaning checklist daily for supervisor
* Be observant and resolve general facility cleanliness while working
* Inform facilities manager of needed supplies
* Do all work to the highest quality as there is no such thing as too clean
* Assist teachers and staff when requested with a willing heart and good attitude
* Provide feedback to facilities manager and superintendent as necessary for the betterment of the program and facilities
* Secure the building
* Open or close the building as requested
* Ensure all areas are secure during your shift and at the end of your shift
* Communicate with Facilities Manager, Administrator, AD, or other staff about building security before leaving

Additional Items:

* Must complete a BCI/FBI background check paid for by Patriot Preparatory Academy
* Complete ongoing training or certifications as requested by the Facilities Manager or Superintendent
* Build a relationship with students and parents so that they know you want only the best for the student
* Submit all required items to administration/office in a timely manner
* Return all communication to parents within 24 hours of receiving it
* Be supportive of the PPA team at all times, but especially when speaking to parents and students
* Communicate with supervisor in regards to staff not following policies of PPA
* Complete anything assigned by your supervisor

Secondary responsibilities:

* Help set up, tear down, and clean for scheduled school functions and events as assigned by the facilities manager

Special duties:

* Report to the school on canceled days
* Ensure that facilities are operational as necessary
* Clean all sidewalks and entrances to prevent icing
* Complete regular cleaning projects or other maintenance work
