Multi-functional role for a multi-site practice providing clinical and other administrative duties to ensure efficient patient flow by rooming patients in a timely manner and assisting the provider with staying timely on their schedules. Duties include but are not limited to:
*all aspects of medical assisting
*accurately and thoroughly documenting patient information
*obtain vital signs, chief complaints, review patient medical history and medications
*ensure exam rooms are clean, safe and ready for patients
*assisting with in-office procedures
*assisting with COVID testing
*scheduling necessary diagnostic testing
*triage patient calls
*scheduling patient appointments
*provide refill requests
*prior authorizations
*strong computer and customer service skills
*Other duties as assigned
Attention to detail and ability to utilize skills interchangeably to all areas of the practice a must. Ability to interact with patients, providers, supervisors and peers in a professional manner. OB/GYN experience preferred. Bilingual a plus.
