Job Description:We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Full-time Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching music classes in 40-minute blocks for Kindergarten through 5th grade students, as well as a 52-minute block for middle school students on an A/B day schedule.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and deliver engaging music lessons that align with the school curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes musical learning and creativity
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to students' different learning styles
- Organize and conduct music rehearsals, performances, and events for students to showcase their talents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate music into cross-curricular activities and school events
- Assess and evaluate students' musical progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Qualifications:
Minnesota Teaching License required
Spanish speaker preferred but not required
Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students preferred
